Truthfully, the speed of which Baud was created is something that wasn't expected and took most of us by surprise. Inspired by other sister platform ReFramer, Baud is designed to be a modular, server-less host for a variety collection of code.

We launched with our first available Instance, ModMail, and will continue to release new options for you to deploy.

Demand for deployment is quite high, and we want to ensure everyone holds a full understanding of how Baud works. Here's a quick overview of our FAQ on our home page.

Why is a billing method required?

Baud offers paid & free instances. We prevent against miss-use by requiring a connected billing method, proving your identity.

How does stock work?

We allocate a certain amount of deployments on our servers per instance type. Stock can be manually replenished by Baud or can automatically grow from deployment cancellations. We understand this makes the deployment process harder, so you'll have to keep an active watch if an instance is sold out.

What if I don't want a deployment anymore?

You're able to either pause or delete your instances. Pausing a paid instance will pause the subscription and will only charge you if you unpause it past the payment date. Deleting it will delete the subscription entirely. (Deleting is now cancelling. If you have paid for a month, your deployment will continue to run until the billing period has completed, then it'll be removed completely).
